Tucked away in the small village of Penhallow, within walking distance of the local pub, The Hide is only three miles from Perranporth and within easy reach of Truro, Land's End, Exmoor, Westward Ho! and many of Cornwall's other favourite attractions.

The Hide is part of a small portfolio of fantastic holiday cottages in Penhallow, convenient for Newquay and Truro and only a few minutes from Perranporth beach. It's perfect for exploring Cornwall's coast and countryside and can be booked together with other cottages on-site if you are on holiday with extended family and friends but want your own space and privacy.

Penhallow is three miles from Perranporth, where you'll find a long stretch of soft sandy shoreline, great conditions for swimming and surfing, quiet dunes and panoramic views from the clifftop coastal footpath. There are shops, cafes and waterfront restaurants for romantic dinners with a view of the sun setting over the water. Newquay beach is 15-minutes north of the cottage, while Truro and the breathtaking Roseland Heritage Coast is just over 10 minutes away with more options for shopping, activities and dining out. During your stay, other places to visit include St Ives, Penzance, Mousehole and Mevagissey, all between 30 and 40 minutes from The Hide.

Sights and attractions to visit during your stay include favourites like Land's End and the Eden Project. Explore the romantic ruins of Tintagel Castle, settle back and enjoy the scenery from the comfort of the Bodmin and Wexford Railway, or take in a show at the open-air Minack Theatre. Hire bicycles and explore the fantastic network of cycle paths, or make the most of the miles of coastal and country footpaths that include the long-distance South West Coast Path. Accommodation Comprises:

The Hide is a modern whitewashed bungalow set behind a tall gate with a sunny private courtyard providing studio style accommodation.

Main living space with areas for sleeping, relaxing and eating. It's wonderfully light thanks to white walls, natural wood floors and lots of windows.

The living area has a comfortable two-seater sofa facing a wall-mounted TV. The cottage has WiFi throughout. A door opens into the private courtyard.

A pine and wrought iron dining table has two chairs.

Fully fitted kitchen area with high-quality appliances that include a full-sized oven and a ceramic stove, a tall fridge/freezer, and a washer/dryer. Pots, pans, utensils, crockery, glasses and other equipment are stored neatly away.

The sleeping area has a kingsize bed made up with fresh white linen, bedside tables with reading lights, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

Ensuite with a large shower and rainfall head, WC and a handbasin.

Outside: The Hide has an enclosed courtyard garden with seating and an outdoor hot tub. There is off-street parking close to the cottage.

Additional Information: All utilities, WiFi, bed linen and bath towels are included. Guests to bring beach towels and dog towels if they are required. Well behaved pets are welcome with the owner's prior agreement. Short breaks may be possible, depending on availability. Smoking anywhere on site is not permitted.
