The surroundings were definitely incredible, however the actual stay was a bit of a disappointment. The place was clean, the bed very comfy, but the sofa has definitely seen better days and should be changed, it made braking noises every time I moved.... The kitchen had everything you may possibly need, but as the cabin is set for 2 people I do not see the point of the dishwasher being there, it would be so much better to fill this space with a washer/ dryer. We were very disappointed with our hot tub, which was meant to be the highlight...the hot tub's lights were not working, there is a setting for 2 jets but only jet 1 is working; the instructions in the book are not clear as it mentions labelled buttons you are suppose to press, which are not labelled; it does not tell you things are not working, so the first night we were there we did not use the hot tub as we were unsure if the broken parts would stop us using it and there was no staff on site after we arrived, so could not check. They have attended first thing in the morning, the guy we were dealing with was polite and nice and did bring me an extra pillow and some soap we asked for ( I did find it strange in COVID times you did not provide soap for bathroom and kitchen ?!), but all we were told is that the hot tub is fine, the lights are not working as the hot tubs are old and this is normal wear and tear and he said just to use jet 1 option, as 2 is not working. This information should have been given to us prior to arrival or at least in the information book as to allow us to use the hot tub on the 1st night. When you open the hot tub the cover stops the light on the veranda reaching the hot tub, so we needed to use a torch light just to be able to use it, which was not great either. Not sure if this is an issue all over the resort or just in that cabin, but it was definitely disappointing and it makes us not want to return unless those issues were to be addressed. Overall the place was clean and apart from the sofa there was no issues in the cabin, the bathroom was lovely, the kitchen was okay and there was enough room for the 2 of us being comfortable. The area itself was gorgeous and the sound of the stream is lovely to listen to as well. Lots to do in the surrounding areas following a short drive. We did have a lovely time overall and it was only the hot tub that has really disappointed us. Thank you anyway.
