About this property

Nestled on the outskirts of St Buryan, is this delightful, detached home, Trevedran Cottage, enjoying a peaceful countryside location. Ideal for a family looking to escape the rush of everyday life, Trevedran Cottage enjoys easy access to Cornwall’s delights, from its idyllic beaches to its lively, seaside resorts. The property offers two off-road parking spaces, for your convenience, where you can leave your car before discovering this charming abode. After a day of rambling the Cornish coast, look forward to unwinding in the sitting room, curling up beside the woodburner as you continue reading your favourite book. Move into the kitchen, a well-equipped space where the designated chef can impress with home-cooking, with a range cooker, microwave and fridge amongst the appliances. Carry the conversation into the dining room, boasting a character feel with its exposed beams and quaint sash window, this is a lovely spot to enjoy family mealtimes. When night falls, venture upstairs to discover the bedrooms, including the master with king-size bed and en-suite shower, while there is also a double and bunk to choose from. In the morning, make your way to the bathroom for a refreshing rinse before venturing to the enclosed garden, perfect for enjoying a coffee whilst your pooch stretches their legs. When you’re ready to explore, the peaceful village of St Buryan offers a convenience store, and a popular pub, the St Buryan Inn, so you’ll have everything you need during your self-catered break, with another couple of pubs within a 2 mile drive. The village also has a very good taxi firm for when you don’t feel like driving. Those who prefer to explore the area on foot can take a short hike from the village and discover the standing stones of Trevorgans and Priden, explore the Bronze Age Boscawen-un Stone Circle, venture to Merry Maidens Stone Circle or discover St Loy Bluebell woods and St Loy Cove. Head southward to the beautiful village of Porthcurno, home to beautiful beaches with turquoise waters and the stunning open-air theatre, The Minack Theatre, constructed on a granite outcrop jutting into the sea. Take a picturesque drive to Newlyn for more coastal fun, including walks around Newlyn Harbour, tours of the Newlyn Art Gallery and afternoons on the beach, or a visit to the neighbouring Trewidden Garden might be your thing. Lamorna, Mousehole, Sennen, and Lands End are all a short drive away from Trevedran Cottage, perfect for immersive days out. For an idyllic escape with friends and family, book Trevedran Cottage.

St Buryan is a charming settlement in Cornwall's West Penwith peninsula, near to Lands End and the many stunning coves and beaches for which this magical part of the country is well-known. The 14th century grade one listed church, which serves as a prominent beacon for miles around, is surrounded by cottages. All of your everyday needs are met thanks to a well-stocked friendly neighbourhood store and a favourite local bar. A lovely village for accessing West Cornwall.

You have everything you want staying away from your own home. I would highly recommend this property to stay at for your holiday.

Even at the end of a long summer season this property is well maintained, resourced and perfect for our needs. The garden is ideal for the dog and the cottage beautifully warm with the aga and wood burner. We appreciate the provision of logs and a delightful goodie box packed with local produce. Thank you Tamsin.
