Situated on the edge of the historic town of Penzance a few minutes walk from the main town and picturesque harbour. With a lovely mature garden, this is the perfect retreat for families and couples to explore all the attractions of West Cornwall. On the edge of the town and only a short drive to Mounts Bay where one can relax on the beach or one of the many cafes or bistros and take in the stunning views across to St Michaels Mount. To the north lies the resort of St Ives a favourite with artists for generations and a true surfing mecca. To the west lies Lands End and the stunning beaches of Sennen Cove. Penzance is the largest town in the area with plenty of choice for those shopping days. Attractions in the area include many, the Tate Modern in St Ives, Karting, Poldark and Geevor Tin Mines, Flambards and the Paradise theme parks. Upon entering the cottage there is a lovely entrance hallway with plenty of room for taking off boots and coats. You are then presented with a cosy lounge area featuring comfortable seating and classically styled soft furnishings. A wood burner effect gas fire casts a rosy glow in the room and completes the relaxed uncomplicated vibe here. Hand painted images of the local area are dotted around the walls and add an eclectic, bohemian feel to the house. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with everything you will need for cooking up family meals and sitting together to talk of your day of exploring. There is a downstairs WC also at this cottage. Heading upstairs to the first floor, you will find two charming bedrooms, a double and a twin with pretty nets and blinds lining the sash windows, framing the stunning views beyond. There is a family bathroom on this floor with a shower over the bath and a WC. Outside the cottage is a pretty enclosed garden at the front and a rear courtyard with outdoor seating for dining on warmer days. Need to know: Two bedrooms: 1 double (with king sized bed), 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over the bath and downstairs WC. Wood burner effect gas fire. Smart TV in the lounge area. Kitchen/ diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine. Garden area with furniture. Off road parking.
