Chacewater 1.6 miles. This beautiful, semi-detached cottage sits in the hamlet of Twelveheads, in the heart of Cornwall. Superbly presented and well-equipped throughout, 1 Woodlands is a first-class base for families and friends looking to explore the wonders of Cornwall. Upon arrival, park up in the off-road parking spaces before unloading your luggage into your new home from home. Step into the kitchen, where the house chef can dust off those cooking books and get to work amongst the appliances, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Continue through to the dining room, a lovely space for hosting family meal times, complete with a wall-mounted Smart TV so you can catch up on the news during a feast. As you look to unwind, the attractive lounge awaits, furnished with chic sofas and an armchair, here you can catch up with the group after a long day. The bedrooms at this Cornish home are situated upstairs, offering a king-size with single and truckle bed and a standard king-size, each presented with neutral tones and furnishings. The bathroom can be found downstairs, offering a luxurious roll-top bath and separate walk-in shower cubicle, presented with a contemporary finish. For your convenience, there is also a utility room with freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, so you can easily pop your clothes on a spin. Venture to the fishing port of Portreath, home to a variety of attractions, including Cornwall Gold and Tolgus Mill, Feadon Wildlife and Education Centre, and Axe Heads Cornwall – Axe Throwing. While in the area, be sure to the ancient city of Truro and discover the magnificent Truro Cathedral, as well as Victoria Gardens and the Royal Cornwall Museum. Alternatively, head in the other direction and take in the delights of St Ives, boasting many attractions including the Tate St Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, and of course, the picturesque St Ives Harbour. A short drive will take you to the village and sandy beach of Portreath, and from Chacewater you can explore both the north and south coasts of Cornwall, with their unspoiled beaches and rough coastal walking routes that reach for miles and are perfect for hikers, bathers, and surfers. Cornwall's sole city, Truro, is home to a magnificent cathedral, the Royal Cornwall Museum, the Hall for Cornwall, a theatre and performance venue, as well as a variety of stores, bars, and eateries. The third-largest natural harbour in the world is located in Falmouth, where you can take boat cruises up the Carrick Roads, enjoy safe beaches, the National Maritime Museum, and the town's most visited landmark, Pendennis Castle, which was erected by Henry viii. A trip to Perranwell Station, where you may rent a Morgan automobile for the day, will appeal to classic car enthusiasts. Bissoe Bike Hire is located close by in the Bissoe Valley.
