About this property

Tucked away in a beautiful, coastal location, just a stone's throw from Mousehole and Newlyn, rests Cumbrae Retreat. This luxury apartment is well-appointed for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer, including some fabulous water sports and stunning walks along the South West Coast Path. Finished to a high standard throughout and arranged all on ground floor, it offers a couple's getaway, perfect for winding down amidst peaceful surroundings. Sorry, no children under the age of 16. With a delicious cream tea presented on arrival, you will instantly feel at home. The kitchen boasts a sleek, modern design, where you can rustle up a romantic dinner for your loved one, while the plush L-shape sofa invites you to recline in front of the TV with a glass of wine. Rest your legs after an adventure on the coast, turn on the multi room entertainment system and listen to your favourite tunes throughout this lavish abode. Enjoy breakfast in the sun on the patio or indulge a luxurious lie in, in the large comfortable double bed. Lastly you will be greeted by a contemporary bathroom getting you through a delightful stay. Mousehole is just four miles away with many eateries and access to St. Clement's Island, while the beautiful beach and open-air Minack Theatre at Porthcurno are also easily reached. Sennen Cove is Cornwall’s most westerly surf hotspot, with a long, sandy beach and small harbour. St Ives is well worth a visit, with its galleries and golden beaches, as is Land's End, offering some stunning scenery. This is a superb apartment to choose for your next holiday to Cornwall.

Newlyn is the third largest fishing port in England, situated next to Penzance in Cornwall. Famous for the Newlyn school of Art and Newlyn Copper, the Cornwall Coastal Path passes through the village, as does the level Mousehole to Marazion cycle path. An abundance of wildlife and flora can be enjoyed along both, with basking sharks, dolphins and grey seals often seen. The Cornish coast is renowned for a variety of watersports as well as giving visitors an opportunity to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings.
