About this property

It’s easy to see why Dylan Thomas waxed lyrical about the village of Mousehole describing it as one of the loveliest in England; almost all of its narrow, winding streets have a sea view of some kind or another and many are peppered with small shops and restaurants as well as galleries to peruse. Down at the seaside, the picturesque fishing harbour with its row of traditional granite cottages, makes a lovely vantage point from which to watch the waves break over the harbour wall, and a scenic walk west along the Coastal Path leads to Lamorna Cove with views of the Tater Du Lighthouse on display along the way.

Along with a spacious master bedroom and a second double, there are two fabulous outside spaces to enjoy. The sunny top balcony which can be accessed from the kitchen / diner is ideal for summery soirees, while a spacious lower terrace creates a private space for guests to soak up the sunshine, and can be accessed from the main bedroom. The upside down layout of the house means that the living spaces enjoy lovely sea views including those from the living room as well as from the balcony, where an outdoor sofa makes the perfect place to savour your morning coffee. Just a short drive from Newlyn, and just a little further on to Penzance and then Marazion; Mousehole is beautifully placed on the coast to provide visitors with ample to see and do in the area. And after days spent exploring all that this beautiful part of Cornwall has to offer; what could be better than putting your feet up with a glass of wine and watching the sun set over the ocean?
