About this property

Mousehole is magical, and if you're in search of a holiday home here that's both gorgeous and perfectly positioned, this fabulous harbourside cottage is a dream. Beautifully open plan in design, the living room spans the width of the cottage, with two large sash windows framing views of the harbour. A plush velvet sofa, cast iron woodburner, and statement lighting create a sumptuous space to unwind in, while the dining area invites leisurely breakfasts and evening meals.

The kitchen is both attractive and practical, with an ornamental Cornish range, slate worktops and a range of top-notch appliances. Upstairs, two airy double bedrooms (one ensuite) have sash windows that showcase incredible sea views. The relaxed, paired-back styling lends an ease to the rooms, and bespoke upside-down blinds encourage guests to take advantage of those essential lazy mornings lie-ins. The third bedroom is a delight for families with children and has two single beds and a TV. Stunning design details and playful twists pepper this home’s interior, like reclaimed school desks as bathroom vanities, stripped and painted floorboards, and an outdoor shower nook between the lane and back door.

Of course, not enough can be said about this property’s location which is right on edge of the harbour and just metres from the beach. Mousehole’s pretty streets and fabulous restaurants are a carefree stroll from the front door, and even if you did feel like venturing further afield, some of Cornwall’s most beautiful scenery at Porthcurno and Marazion are within a few minutes’ drive.
