About this property

Penzance 2 miles. Positioned an idyllic working farm in Gulval near Penzance is this park home, Mount View 1. Enjoying an elevated position with mesmerising views across the bay, St Michael's Mount and the surrounding countryside, Mount View 1 is a lovely escape for families and friends searching for a tranquil Cornish retreat. Upon arrival you are greeted by two off-road parking spaces where you can unload your bags before getting comfortable in your new home away from home. The open-plan living space presents a cosy seating area with a corner settee and TV, with an adjacent dining table where mealtimes can be enjoyed.

Allow the chef of the group to impress in the kitchen, making use of the combi microwave/oven, two ring portable hob and fridge. To the outside there is plenty of room to enjoy a refreshing drink whilst your four-legged friend stretches their legs. Rinse away the day with a shower before settling down in the bedroom, offering the choice of a double and twin setup. The location of this inviting holiday home is superb, with a number of supermarkets and quirky shops in the nearby area, while Penzance is filled with excellent restaurants, pubs and takeaways for when you fancy a night away from the cooker.

Days out to neighbouring Marazion are recommended, home to some fine sandy beaches and offering boat trips across to the iconic St. Micheal’s Mount. Those looking to get their steps in can join the South West Coastal Path and take in gorgeous coastal scenery leading to the picturesque fishing village of St Ives, famed for its Blue Flag awarded Porthmeor Beach with pristine sands and clear waters, along with the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden and Tate St Ives. Set in a desirable location to enjoying all that Cornwall has to offer, consider Mount View 1 for your next south-coast escape.

Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 10969949, together they sleep eight guests.

Penzance, with its winding alleys, shops, bars, restaurants, and harbour, is a must-see since it is both the starting point and the harbour for day voyages to the Isles of Scilly. The South West Coast Path, which passes through Penzance on its route to Land's End, weaves its way along the clifftops. As you reach Gwennap Head, stop for a coffee and a rest at picturesque Lamorna Cove, see the open-air Minack Theatre, and wonder at the cliffs. A beautiful walk for people looking for peace, exercise, and some of the best coastline vistas in the UK.
