No smoking.. Beech cottage is one of four holiday properties at this wonderful site. The other properties are residential so please be considerate of the neighbours. They comprise of three bedrooms, a dormer bedroom with a double bed and on the ground floor a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with bunk beds. There is an open plan living space, equipped with TV, fridge, microwave and the usual kitchen appliances. There are no travel cots provided but there is single bed ideal for toddlers upwards that is in the same room as the double bed.
The quiet rural location (no sea views, but lots of open countryside) also makes it popular with those who like easy access to the local beaches and coves. The cottages are in the hamlet of Poljigga, about two miles from Land’s End. Beech cottage is only a few metres away from the footpath to the lovely Nanjizal Cove and the SW Coast Path, for avid hikers! Near to Land’s End are Sennen Cove and Whitesands Bay, with its safe surfing and family beach. The famous cliffside Minack Theatre is just over a mile and half away, overlooking beautiful Porthcurno beach, both worth a visit at any time of year. You are spoilt for beautiful beaches, Porthchapel is 1.3 miles away Porthgwarra is 1.4 and Sennen Cover is 2 miles.
West Cornwall is particularly attractive during the Spring and early Summer, when the daffodils and wildflowers are at their best. Bird watchers and walkers return to the area year after year to enjoy the early and late season and, of course, the coastal path which is a short walk from The Vineries. The nearest train station is at Penzance 7.5 miles away which is also the nearest town. Here you will find an assortment of shops, cafés restaurants as well as the working harbour.
This property can be booked together with Mallard Cottage (UK38932), Rowan Cottage (UK38934) and Blackbird Cottage (UK38935) to accommodate up to 24 guests.
The grounds are shared with other properties on-site.
