About this property

This stylish, semi-detached property lies in the heart of the coastal town of Penzance. Set over two floors, 1 Regent Mews offers a contemporary retreat for families eager to escape normality and holiday in this Cornish region. The focal point of this property is the voguish open-plan living room; unwind upon the stylish settee and futon, taking a moment to catch up on your favourite book or flick on the Smart TV for some light entertainment. Allow the chef of the group to get acquainted in the kitchen, boasting a modern design with sleek units and integrated features, with an electric oven, ceramic hob and wine cooler amongst the appliances. Follow the oak flooring upstairs where you can discover two tastefully decorated bedrooms, including a king-size and a twin with zip/link beds, offering flexibility as a king-size upon request. Completing the interior is the gleaming family bathroom, presented in an all-white overtone with a bath and shower over, so you can best decide how to prepare for the day. Enjoy an alfresco breakfast within the rear courtyard, an idyllic space to chill out as you ponder where to visit next. From the doorstep you are within walking distance of a wealth of amenities, including several tasty eateries ranging from well-established restaurants to traditional fish and chip shops, there’s something for all taste buds here. Browse the exhibitions at the Victorian Penlee House Gallery & Museum, enjoy a wander along the promenade before sampling a traditional Cornish cream tea at The Barbican Tea Room. Lace up your walking boots and embark on a two footed adventure along the dramatic coastline, following the scenic South West Coastal Path as you enjoy some of the greatest vistas in Cornwall, or hike all the way to Land’s End, one of the country’s most famous landmarks. Choose 1 Regent Mews and enjoy a Cornish getaway you won’t forget.

Golowan, the Midsummer Carnival, and the Literary Festival are all held in Penzance. There are further art galleries in The Exchange, Newlyn, and Penlee. The spectacular sweep of Mount's Bay, which stretches from the cliffside fishing village of Mousehole through Penzance and around to beautiful Marazion, hides a wealth of sandy beaches, rocky coves, winding village streets, and other places to visit and explore, is one of Cornwall's most popular holiday areas. The National Trust's wonderfully attractive St Michael's Mount, with its hilltop fortress and Mediterranean gardens, is connected to the sea at Marazion by a causeway. When the tide is low, walk across and catch one of the ferry boats back when the tide is high. Penzance, with its winding alleys, shops, bars, restaurants, and harbour, is a must-see since it is both the starting point and the harbour for day voyages to the Isles of Scilly. The South West Coast Path, which passes through Penzance on its route to Land's End, weaves its way along the clifftops. As you reach Gwennap Head, stop for a coffee and a rest at picturesque Lamorna Cove, see the open-air Minack Theatre, and wonder at the cliffs. A beautiful walk for people looking for peace, exercise, and some of the best coastline vistas in the UK. Penzance is an ideal vacation destination. The location is ideal for exploring this country of Celtic myth and legend, with much to do and see in the nearby area to keep the whole family entertained.

Very comfortable, location is great and it is obvious the owner really cares about her guests with the amenities provided. Would highly recommend this as a great holiday home for anyone wishing to explore West Cornwall or visiting Penzance.

The property is the perfect location for exploring Penzance and although no designated parking we had no issue finding a spot close by. The property itself was clean and tidy upon arrival with welcome treats for us and our dog. The bed was a bit to firm for my liking (prefer a soft mattress) but my partner found it comfortable. Overall, highly recommend and will definitely be booking Regent Mews again

Fantastic location, handy for shops, pubs and restaurants. Parking is challenging but that's the same for everyone! Penzance is fantastic - very friendly and lots of places to take your dogs. Willl be back both to both the cottage and Penzance! Thanks do much.
