Tuck-in to your meal at the dining table for four, or on warmer days why not dine alfresco out on the front patio or take advantage of the park's communal barbecue area? There are also the parks welcoming Conservatory Bar and Restaurant for those evenings when you don’t feel like cooking. After dinner, relax on the plush seating in the sitting room as you select a much-loved show from the TV as the evening’s entertainment. Traditional Cornish village St Merryn is within two miles from Padstow's quaint harbour and fishing port. It's little wonder that St Merryn is a popular holiday destination in Cornwall because it's located near some of the greatest surfing and golfing spots in the county. The village has two pubs and three restaurants as well as a Chinese takeaway, a chip shop, and a post office. Eleven miles away, in the thriving seaside resort town of Newquay, you'll find three major beaches, the National Surf Centre, and an inexhaustible supply of rolling surf. A zoo, Sea Life Center, nightclubs, pubs and restaurants are also available in Newquay. St Merryn is a great starting point for exploring the surrounding area at your own pace because it is tucked away from the main holiday throng.

It was clean and well presented, everything you could need provided, even an individually packed cleaning kit containing washing up items, a bin liner etc. The beds were comfortable with lovely crisp white bedding. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for their guests. The location of this particular chalet was perfect, south facing so lovely to sit outside in the sun and not too close to or directly facing any others. We found the site itself to be well maintained and perfectly located for exploring the beautiful coastline, just 5 or so minutes drive from the nearest bay which was gorgeous. All of the site staff were friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was really good with the menu catering for all dietary requirements. We would definitely return to this site and this chalet in particular!
