About this property

Nestled on the outskirts of the charming seaside village of Mawgan Porth in Cornwall is Sun Haven 37 in Sun Haven Holiday Park. This fabulous, family-friendly holiday home benefits from excellent on-site amenities, an open-plan interior, two well-appointed bedrooms, allocated off-road parking in the main car park and easy access to a wealth of walks and award-winning beaches, ideal for groups or families looking to explore all of Cornwall. A welcoming, open-plan living space greets you upon arrival; head over to the corner sofa where you can unwind in front of the electric flame-effect stove. Stay here until the hunger sets in then step into the fully-equipped kitchen to prepare something tasty for dinner. Enjoy this at the dining table, as a family, then take advantage of your private decking to enjoy drinks with a view. When the sky darkens, freshen up in the shower room before heading into either the double or twin bedroom for some rest. With unbeatable trails through dense and beautiful woods and close proximity to an award-winning Blue Flag beach, Sun Haven Holiday Park offers unbeatable coastal woodland retreats. Begin your adventure with a coastal first walk after crossing the trickling stream at the bottom of the park. Start the fun with an amble along the wooded banks of the River Menalhyl to the fabulous Mawgan Porth where you can roam and admire its breath-taking golden shores. Sample Cornish traditions with a pint of ale at the Merrymoor Inn, the perfect reward after your picturesque hike. Those looking to explore the coast should head to the nearby town of Newquay which offers ample surfing opportunities from the golden shores of Fistral Beach, Towan Beach and Bedruthan Steps. If you’d rather explore attractions laced throughout the Cornish countryside, stop off The Eden Project for an educational experience in its tropical biomes or explore the eastern influence on the picturesque Japanese Gardens, which both lie near Sun Haven Holiday Park. Start your exploration of Cornwall's coastal woodland at Sun Haven 37.

Mawgan Porth is a hidden bay on the beautiful north Cornish coast between Newquay and Padstow, and it has a golden sand beach, great surf, and a coastal path with many caves to explore. Take a stroll along the cliffs while keeping an eye on the waves, bask in the summer sun, or learn to ride them. There are a number of fine dining establishments in the Mawgan Porth area, such as Paul Ainsworth's No. 6 and Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant, and the wonderful adults-only Scarlet Hotel, which offers Spa treatments and amenities to non-residents, is also nearby. In addition to a deli, farm shop selling meat and eggs, and bakery producing fresh bread and pasties, Mawgan Porth also features tennis courts, a pitch and putt, and an 18-hole golf course with views of the Atlantic.
