After dinner venture through the patio doors to your private decking where you can admire the sun going down over Cornwall with a glass of wine in hand, after venture back inside to wash off the day’s adventures in the bathroom before retiring to one of three bedrooms; there is a double and two twins. A Blue Flag beach and miles of hiking trails winding through Cornwall's verdant, beautiful forests are both within easy reach of Sun Haven Holiday Park. The park benefits from a handy location close to popular tourist destinations like The Eden Project where you can learn about the iconic tropical biomes or the nearby Japanese Gardens where you can explore the eastern-influence on these picturesque displays. Or for a coastal adventure, take to Newquay which lies nearby, here you can explore its plethora of golden, sandy beaches or take to the open water with your surfboard at Bedruthan Steps or Fistral and Towan beach. A myriad of woodland walks surrounds Sun Haven Holiday Park providing keen ramblers with endless opportunities to explore the Cornish countryside. Head to the bottom of the park and cross the stream to embark and a riverside walk through the magnificent woods which eventually ends at Mawgan Porth. Mawgan Porth is a sheltered cove on the beautiful north Cornish coast between Newquay and Padstow known for its golden sand beach, great surf, and abundance of caves and coastal footpath to explore. Relax in the warm summer sun, master the art of surfing, or take a leisurely stroll along the cliffs while keeping an eye on the waves. The nearby town of Mawgan Porth is filled with excellent dining options, including Paul Ainsworth's No. 6 and Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant. The adults-only Scarlet Hotel is also located there and offers Spa services to visitors. Tennis courts, a pitch and putt, and an 18-hole golf course with Atlantic views can all be found in Mawgan Porth, along with a deli, a farm shop selling meat and eggs, and a bakery selling bread and pasties made with local ingredients.
