About this property

A surfer’s paradise, Springs Hideaway offers a fresh, chic aesthetic with luxury touches and the golden sands and rolling waves of Fistral Beach just ten minutes walk away. Up to four guests can enjoy this lovely coastal home whilst being close enough to all the action that comes with the lively town of Newquay.

A spacious open-plan lounge and dining area have wooden floors and a large bay window, the perfect spot to take in the seaside views right on your doorstep. Throw open the doors to let the coastal breeze in or cosy up in front of the log burner on chillier days. A modern, spacious kitchen comes complete with all modern amenities from Belfast sink to range oven and gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine and everything you will need to cater for your group, whether you are cooking up a storm or feasting on some locally caught fish and chips!

The sleeping accommodation is on the ground floor, providing easy access to two king-size bedrooms with pretty printed bed linens, TV and stylish metal bed frames. A lovely, shared bathroom with a walk-in shower and gorgeous roll-top bath provides the perfect setting for a morning soak in the bubbles.

Stepping through the patio doors will lead you to a modern decked area flanked by plant life and with its own custom-made barbecue. The outdoor hot water shower provides a chance to shower off post-beach, and there is plenty of space to stash boards and hang wetsuits. At the front of the house, in true local style, there is a bistro chair and table set to enjoy an al fresco drink while you watch the world go by.

Centrally located, the beach house is close to the buzz of the Newquay nightlife, with the beach a short walk away and a plethora of local restaurants, shops and activities available to keep everyone entertained from the beginning to the end of your holiday.

The bustling seaside town of Newquay has something for everyone and even benefits from its own airport, under thirty minutes from the centre of town. The house is just a ten-minute stroll to the world-famous Fistral beach, where crystal clear waves await your enjoyment from swimming, paddleboarding, water-skiing and boat rides.

As Britain’s premier surfing spot, Fistral Beach plays host to the Boardmasters International Surf Competition each year; whilst out of the water, Fistral and nearby Watergate Bay are the places to be for the annual five-day music festival, Boardmasters.

A gateway to Cornwall's wild beauty, there are many local beaches and beauty spots. Crantoch Beach is a must-see with its epic sand dunes, perfect for exploring; if you venture onto the footpaths to Polly Joke Beach, you might even spot some local seals sunning themselves on the secluded shore. Watergate Bay offers two miles of golden sand and a more peaceful environment, whilst a short drive will take you to the perfect rock-pooling spot at Porth Beach. Make sure you head out on the narrow footbridge to Porth Island for stunning views of the Cornish coastline. Or take a visit to nearby National-Trust-owned Trerice, a charming Elizabethan manor with picture-perfect gardens perched just outside of Newquay.

If you’re looking for a day trip, the charming coastal town of Padstow is just a thirty-minute drive away. Try your hand at crabbing in the harbour, grab yourself a local pasty for lunch or take a boat trip over to nearby Rock. The Eden Project in St. Austell is only a forty-minute drive, a perfect spot for families where you can walk amongst the dramatic tropical biomes and experience the sights and smells of the rainforest. Or take a day trip to St. Ives, the Cornish home of the Tate Gallery, to check out exhibits of both famous and local artists.

Newquay has plenty to offer if you’re looking for a night out. Just a short walk from your doorstep, you’ll find Moules and Co, grab a table or get yourself a takeaway of mouth-watering moules, the best in town! Why not move the party on to local cocktail bar Tom Thumb where expert mixologists serve house-blended vermouths and syrups? If you want to sample some local seafood, why not order your own freshly caught and cooked lobster or crab from the Fernpit Café fresh from the water straight to your plate?
