This cottage is situated in a small village and guests will enjoy the local amenities which include tennis courts (free to access but please bring own equipment) skate bowl, play area and playing fields. Just a short drive away is the popular town of Newquay, famed for its surf, but equally inviting for swimmers, paddlers, and sunbathers. Newquay has a large range of shops, bars, and nightclubs, as well as the Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo. Within a thirty minute drive, visitors may also enjoy day trips to numerous sandy beaches including Watergate and the vast sands of Perranporth, as well as the upmarket, foodie town of Padstow. This former tin miner s cottage has maintained many of the original features typical of this type of traditional Cornish home. The cosy lounge benefits from a wood burner as well as a TV and DVD, and makes the perfect spot to cosy up after a busy day spent exploring the local area. The kitchen/diner seats four at the dining table and has all the equipment you will need to enjoy your stay, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge freezer, whilst a separate utility area has a small dishwasher and washer/dryer. The property s three bedrooms are on the first floor, but guests should note that the age of the property means that the stairs are steep, cottage style stairs and care should be taken. the master bedroom has a double bed and the 2 further bedrooms have a single bed in each room although one of the singles also has a pull out trundle bed which would be suitable for a child. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. Outside there is a lawned garden with seating area and BBQ with a beautiful summer house located at the bottom of the garden. Roadside parking is available. Need to know: Sleeps 4 1. 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 2 singles (one with additional trundle bed). Bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Wi Fi included.
