This beautiful, well presented cottage is located just a short distance from many of Cornwall s finest beaches, offering swimming, surfing, bodyboarding and stunning coastal walks for you and your four legged friends to discover.. The popular resort town of Newquay is four miles away and offers something for everyone, with its bars, nightclubs, beach, aquarium, and zoo. A little further around the coast is the stunning Watergate Bay, with its surf academy and The Watergate Bay hotel, with its spa, restaurants and indoor pool being accessible via day membership for non resident guests & opening 2021 Emily Scott Food. The property is also conveniently located close to Newquay Airport. As you enter the cottage you get the full sense of the detail that has gone in to making this period property so special. Exposed beams and brickwork greet you in the dining room, a place where, sat around the table you can catch up on the day's events and share a bottle of wine or two with your evening meal. The spacious, light airy kitchen has everything you need including a range cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There is even under window storage with dog towels for your furry friends who are always catered for throughout your stay. For those times when you wish to relax and unwind you can head in to the lounge with its large comfortable leather sofas and traditional granite fireplace with log burner for those chillier evenings. You have Sky TV, DVD player and digital radio with Bluetooth should you wish to pop on some of your favourite tunes. Heading upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, two doubles both with some limited head height due to traditional sloping ceilings, a further double bedroom with access from only one side of the bed as well as a themed twin room. All bedrooms have TV's, luxury bed linen and fresh, soft fluffy towels with complimentary toiletries. The family bathroom with its oak flooring, feature roll top bath, separate shower enclosure, WC and heated towel rail completes the first floor. Heading outside there is a large, fully enclosed garden and patio area and seating which enjoys the sun all day long. You can come back from an action packed day & watch the sun set while eating al fresco from the BBQ, planning your adventures for the following day. There is also ample parking at the property. It is not just your holiday though, our four legged guests are catered for as well. Whether you are wanting to go out for dinner at one of Cornwall's many award winning Michelin star restaurants or on a hot day, you may like to spend the day at the beach with the kids or visit a tourist attraction, the owner offers fully insured dog sitting service during the evening and a dog day care facility during the day. You won't have to worry about them for a minute as your loyal friend will be having an action packed day in our 3.5 acre fully enclosed field with a stream and a copse for shade, enjoying both mental and physical stimulation for the energetic while the more sedate ones can enjoy the paddling pool and sandpit. Supervised at all times, your dogs can meet you back at the cottage relaxed, happy and ready to curl up for the evening. Need to know: 4 bedrooms 2 doubles, 1 twin and 1 further double (with access to only one side of the bed). Bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC and heated towel rail. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Travel cot and linen and highchair (available on request at time of booking).
