The popular resort of Newquay boasting three excellent surfing and watersports beaches, as well as the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, so it's no surprise that it is recognised as the surfing capital of the UK. The town offers family-friendly attractions like a zoo and sea life centre, as well as a selection of restaurants and pubs. The South West Coast Path passes through the town, offering fantastic coastal walks along high cliffs, passing hidden coves and yet more beaches. The fishing village of Padstow and Cornwall's only city, Truro, are both within easy reach.
