This seaside resort town in the southwest of England is a mecca for surfers, with eleven beaches and more than seven miles of golden sand. The South West Coast Path offers breathtaking views of the coastline, including towering cliffs, secluded coves, and yet more beaches, for those who enjoy walking. Padstow and Truro, with their museums, cathedrals, restaurants, and cobbled streets, as well as the Eden Project, are just 14 and 30 miles away, respectively. To get to the Tate St Ives gallery and its beautiful surroundings, you can either take a short drive or a train ride. As a result, Newquay is the ideal starting point for a tour of Cornwall.
