About Chybean Cottage

A Grade II Listed cosy retreat for two, Chybean Cottage sits on a small family run farm surrounded by the waters of the Carrick Roads.  Perfect for couples and romantic breaks, the cottage has a private shingle beach just 300 yards away with facilities for boat launch and some deep water mooring by arrangment.  The 13th Century Pandora Inn is only a 15 minute stroll away via a pretty creekside path. Amenities including fine local shops and the acclaimed Lemon Arms inn at Mylor Bridge are only 1 mile away.

Inside

Entrance door into a cosy well equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, a microwave, washing machine and a fridge-freezer.

Living room has a woodburning stove with logs are provided - plus a TV, DVD, CD player, iPod dock and a dining table.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Stairs lead down to a double bedroom which contains a wash basin.

Ground floor shower room adjacent to the kitchen inclusive of a wash basin and wc.

Outside

Private shingle beach (300 yards from the cottage) suitable for small boat launch.  Deep mooring space is available on request.

Sunny enclosed garden and patio to the front - a perfect spot for a BBQ.

Ample parking is to the rear of the cottage.

Heating/ night storage heaters are throughout.

Availability

Weekly booking changeover day is a Friday.  Short breaks are available.

Around and About

The Fal estuary and Carrick Roads are a top spot for sailing, and the cottage is just a stone's throw from UK sailing centre Falmouth, home of the National Maritime Museum.  Cathedral capital Truro and popular Cornish attractions such as the Eden Project are within easy driving distance.
