Snaptrip says

Higher Lampra is a well-received cottage, praised for its tranquil woodland setting, secure dog-friendly environment, and warm hospitality from the host, Justin. Guests appreciate the property's privacy, the surrounding wildlife, and the convenience for exploring the Lizard. While most reviews are positive, highlighting the comfort and charm of the cottage, a few guests noted areas for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, with only a single review suggesting otherwise. This indicates a high standard of cleanliness that is consistently met.

The location is highly praised for its peace, quiet, and proximity to local attractions and dog-friendly beaches. The natural beauty of the surrounding area and the private setting are frequently mentioned as highlights.

Guests generally find the cottage cosy and comfortable, with a well-appointed kitchen and comfortable bedding. However, a few guests mentioned that the heating system and mattress could be improved, slightly lowering the score.

While the cottage is appreciated for its well-equipped kitchen and secure garden, some guests noted issues with appliances and general maintenance. The lack of Wi-Fi is seen as a positive by some and a drawback by others.

Several guests were delighted by the thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers, champagne, and even a decorated Christmas tree. While these gestures are warmly received, it is noted that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed.

Our dog thought the garden and the fields were great fun and views were so lovely especially sitting on the benches for morning coffee or evening sunsets. Justin introduced himself to us on the first night and he was so helpful about the area. Will definitely visit again.
