Our stay at the Bearoak Shippon was an unforgettable one for all the right reasons. Upon arrival the whole place was spotless. The location is an ideal one because of how quiet and peaceful it is. There were a number of places nearby to visit, pointed out in the welcome booklet when you arrive. I could not recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a nice relaxed peaceful break whilst still being able to venture out and visit the beautiful sites in Cornwall. Thank you to our hosts for making our anniversary a special one.

We stayed with our dog for Christmas. The cottage was really welcoming and tastefully decorated. Everything we could have possibly needed for our stay was provided. Lee put so much thought and effort into making our stay that extra special over Christmas. A welcome hamper, fizz in the fridge and even a Christmas present for me and my partner and the dog under the tree ❤️ The host were so friendly and helpful, and we even shared a drink or two with them at there bar! The location is perfect for days out, within 25 minutes drive to Port Isaac, Tintagel, Boscastle and Bodmin. We would highly recommend the cottage, and definitely would stay again.

Very well equipped and comfortable property in a peaceful location that is ideal for exploring the coast and moors. Tastefully decorated with attention to detail. Fab woodburner although the cottage was really warm so we lit it for atmosphere rather than heat! Lovely welcome pack and we liked the bathroom goodies and extremely fluffy towels. Lovely to hear no traffic noise only birds. Would highly recommend.
