About this property

This stone built semi-detached bungalow is on a small private development of purpose built holiday bungalows which lies just steps away from golden sands and white tipped waves. Set around the site of Marazion's former railway sidings and the little granite stone station which has now been sympathetically converted. This property is perfect for those who want to be as close as possible to the sea as it is just steps away from the beach and the stunning views of St Michael's Mount. The entrance leads into the open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with TV and comfy sofas. Two double bedrooms, twin bedroom and a bathroom complete the bungalow. There is a patio area for each bungalow and the surrounding communal gardens have been landscaped with designated parking bays in front of each property with two spaces. Ever popular with watersports enthusiasts, windsurfers, kite surfers and dinghies can be found skimming over the waves throughout the year. When the tide is out, the historic island castle of St Michael's Mount can be accessed by an ancient cobbled causeway well trodden by Pilgrims over the centuries. A vast tract of inland marshland frequented by rare species of migrating birds attracts bird watchers from all over the country. Time can be spent browsing in galleries and antique shops, or taking refreshments in the tea rooms, cafes and pubs which can be found lining the narrow streets of this charismatic coastal village. Explore the surrounding area where you will discover Penzance, Land's End and St Ives are all just a convenient drive away. Returning to your bungalow after a day of sun and sea, sheltered from Atlantic breezes by the sea wall, this property is perfect for those that want to chill out and relax and look forward to the next adventurous day, whether with family or friends. We have been several times and the location makes it a perfect place, ok no WiFi but that is no real problem if you have a mobile hub. We missed the gardener, hope he is OK.

Plenty of room for three adults but could easily do the six. The one fault we all said was the toilet seat was too small so kept moving but that being said have already booked to go back next year

Property was well equipped but in need of a refresh and deep clean. Unfortunately we also couldn’t get the heating to work, having stayed in other properties on the complex previously I don’t think it was us and it was in fact faulty. Luckily we had hot water and it wasn’t a super cold week. There were 2 portable heaters but only one worked. This isn’t the first time we have been disappointed with a Sykes property and whilst we have already booked one in June I doubt we will be using them again. Such a shame as location is fabulous and with some care could be a great property.
