A short stroll away, the heart of the vibrant seaside town of Marazion welcomes you with open arms and here you’ll find various good places to eat out, including restaurants with sea views, coffee shops and bakeries. Marazion’s beaches are a dream for anyone who enjoys fun on the sand and in the water, and whether you’re a seasoned pro or a complete beginner, its beach-based surf school will help you take to the surf. If you fancy venturing out then why not take a drive along the coast to discover Praa Sands and Sennen Cove, two fantastic beaches just a few miles away. Closer still is Penzance where you’ll find Jubilee Pool, the UK's largest Art Deco pool boasting a sea water lido and a geothermal heated pool.

Further down the coast from Penzance is the up-and-coming fishing port of Newlyn where you can visit art galleries, peruse independent shops and sample some fantastic seafood, while magical Mousehole (one of Cornwall’s prettiest villages) is the next spot along the coast and a must-visit place during your stay. The National Trust-owned Godolphin House with its expansive 500-acre woodlands and scenic walks is within easy reach along with Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens, Trengwainton Gardens, and Polgoon Vineyard.

Lounge

Situated on the ground floor this beautiful room features flagstone flooring and deep window reveals, as well as a large stone fireplace with slate hearth and a cast iron wood-burning stove. Furnished with two sofas and an upholstered footstool, the room is spacious yet cosy with bookshelves, occasional tables and a flat screen Smart TV with Freeview, DVD player and streaming device

This room accesses a large storage cupboard

Kitchen

Located on the ground floor, this is the first room you enter into from the front door. Large and amply equipped with plenty of counter-top space and storage, it features an electric oven and grill, induction hob, fridge with ice box, slim dishwasher, microwave, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine (ground coffee) and toaster. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils and crockery provided

(The washer / dryer, iron and ironing board are housed in the outside utility)

A few steps lead up to the back door landing which accesses the garden

Dining Area

The dining room is in the kitchen is furnished with a table and four chairs

Bathroom

Located on the first floor the family shower room features a walk-in double shower and rain head and hand-held attachment, hand basin, cabinet, heated towel rail and WC

Master Bedroom

Located on the first floor.

Light, bright and roomy. Furnishings include a king size bed, bedside tables with lamps, two wardrobes, a dressing table with mirror and stool, and a chest of drawers

Bedroom Two

Also located on the first floor, this charming bedroom features two single beds and a lovely, exposed stone wall. Furnished with two bedside tables with lamps, a chest of drawers and wardrobe

Outside

To the back of the cottage there is a paved courtyard garden with a table and chairs. An outside shed is handy for storing bicycles, wetsuits, boards and beach gear

Parking

This property does not offer parking however there is plenty of street parking about 100 meters away. Alternatively there’s a long stay car park 15 minutes’ walk away
