Further afield is the maritime town of Penzance, fishing village of Newlyn and famous harbour at Mousehole are a short distance away. All major supermarkets are to be found within 2 miles of Penzance. The main line Rail Station in Penzance is some 3 miles away and the hosts can provide transport to and from Station if required. The bus stop for services to Helston in the southeast and westerly to Penzance, including the popular open top bus around the Peninsula are within 150 meters of Polgew. Shop and pub 1/2 mile distant.

Polgew garden suite was everything we had hoped for, and more.Beautiful accommodation and was immaculate, no expense spared making this accommodation very high end, well maintained and cared for. Diane welcomed us with a prepared cream tea after a long journey, and Graham made us a loaf of home made bread , much appreciated, after that they let us get on and enjoy our holiday. The garden is beautiful, and the views over the bay and over to St Michael's Mount are spectacular.

We stayed at Polgew Studio in Marazion for 3 nights and really enjoyed it. Initial impresions were very positive, as we walked through beautiful flowerbeds lining the path up to the property. Diane gave us a very warm welcome and showed us round, explained everything. She had provided a lovely Cornish cream tea to welcome us, something we really appreciated and enjoyed. The property has lovely views acros to St Michaels Mount and the whole sweep of Mounts Bay. The weather was very good for mid-April and the sun on the sea and the castle created a wonderful view - especially good to wake up to in the early morning. Polgew Studio is perfect accommodation for 2 people. It was good quality furnishing, with comfortable bed and seating. The bathroom was very spacious, with both bath and shower. The kitchen, although small, was very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. We were very impresed and hope to return in the future. This is a highly recommended property.
