The town of Marazion has restaurants, art galleries and shops, or enjoy a drink or meal at the hotel overlooking the magnificent castle on the Mount. Further afield is the maritime town of Penzance, fishing village of Newlyn and famous harbour at Mousehole are a short distance away. All major supermarkets are to be found within 2 miles of Penzance. The main line Rail Station in Penzance is some 3 miles away and the hosts can provide transport to and from Station if required. The bus stop for services to Helston in the southeast and westerly to Penzance, including the popular open top bus around the Peninsula are within 150 meters of Polgew. Shop and pub 1/2 mile distant.

we had a wonderful stay - made to feel very welcome by Diane and Graham and enjoyed the beautiful view throughout the week. The Studio was lovely - the kitchen slightly on the small side but had everything we needed. Diane was so kind to leave some toys to keep our one year old entertained and the gras terrace was perfect for the sunny days that blesed us. The view of St Michael's Mount is even more incredible than the photos. Thanks for such a lovely stay.
