Further afield is the maritime town of Penzance, fishing village of Newlyn and famous harbour at Mousehole are a short distance away. All major supermarkets are to be found within 2 miles of Penzance. The main line Rail Station in Penzance is some 3 miles away and the hosts can provide transport to and from Station if required. The bus stop for services to Helston in the southeast and westerly to Penzance, including the popular open top bus around the Peninsula are within 150 meters of Polgew.
