The small adjoining kitchen is really well designed and perfect for two, with everything you’ll need to cook and enjoy meals at home.

Outside, the very large communal gardens provide plenty of space to sit and enjoy the views across Mount’s Bay, with lawns, outdoor seating and dining space. Marazion’s beach is wide and sandy with calm water for kayaking, SUPing and swimming. St Michael’s Mount is Marazion’s best-known landmark and perches just offshore. A tidal island with sub-tropical gardens and a beautiful old castle, visitors can reach the island via a land bridge at low tide, or a ferry which opens seasonally. The South West Coast Path runs a perfectly flat route from the town to neighbouring Penzance where there’s an Art Deco heated lido, good pubs and lovely restaurants.

Slightly further along the coast and easily reached by car, Newlyn offers an authentically Cornish fishing port, and Mousehole, a picture-perfect harbourside village. Porthcurno is a 20-minute drive where guests can visit the outdoor Minack Theatre or laze on golden sand with a backdrop of turquoise water. On the opposite coastline, St Ives and Carbis Bay flaunt more beautiful beaches, excellent eateries and independent shops.
