Recent disappointing stay. We ended up in a lodge with a broken boiler that lost pressure every evening of our 3 night stay during mid January, resulting in no heating and hot water. The first night we didn't realise the boiler had a fault until 2 am in the morning and decided it was too early to call for help, and we waited till 9am (Member of staff told us it was a one off and that we should have been more prepare and brought our own blankets). The 2nd evening the boiler faulted around 21:30 when trying to go for a shower after using the hot tub, resulting in calling the emergency number there and then for a member of staff. The 3rd night the boiler faulted when washing hands around 2 am, resulting in calling the emergency number around 7am and calling out a member of staff.  There was also poor TV signal,  i understand this is because the site is in a quarry, but the website advertises Freeview TV.  Lack of empathy from all staff. This was supposed to be a birthday treat and we were looking forward to our stay.  No offer of compensation.

This was a beautiful location with stunning views and coastal walks. The lodges were a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the area with hot tubs for additional pleasure. All local amenities are within driving distance, with stunning beaches to be discovered, one for every day of the year. I would definitely recommend Mullion Cove.
