About this property

In Kingsand, an 'upside down' little house on three levels with good sea views, snuggled in a row of 18th century houses, two minutes stroll from the beach and Coast Path. Access is from a narrow lane which has no passing traffic. At ground level there are two bedrooms: a twin, and a double with French windows to a tiny courtyard, imaginatively done just for two; ground floor toilet. Then head down stairs to a lower level to a smart, roomy bathroom. Up on the first floor there is a light, open-plan living/dining room and kitchen area with those lovely time-wasting sea views - binoculars provided to observe the shipping which passes. Thoroughly well done, comfortable and convenient. Take a day walking in nearby Mount Edgcumbe's 800 acres or take the seasonal pedestrian ferry to Plymouth.

The twin villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, with narrow streets winding between pastel-coloured cottages, lie on the Rame Peninsula just 5 miles from Plymouth.

A perfectly set out holiday let in a great location close to car park, pubs and beach. All instructions were clear and accurate. We will definitely look to stay again.

We really loved all the little signs dotted around the house! The view from the lounge window was certainly one of the best things and we loved being able to see the sea everyday. Perfect location - close to Kingsand beach and the field/park area which was great for dog walks. Would book again without hesitation.

We appreciated the kitchen also being upstairs as well as the toilet being very close to the bedrooms. We have visited Kingsand and Cawsand many times and the cottage is perfect for enjoying the village My companion felt some sort of extra rail on the stairs to the bathroom would have helped her with her reduced mobility
