With a fine collection of country pubs, restaurants and a thriving farmer’s market nearby you will not be short of places to eat.

Polkerris beach is a short drive away, as well as some historic homes and gardens such as Lanhydrock House and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. The river Fowey runs from the town on its 8 mile journey through the fields and wooded valleys to the gentler southern coast, a natural paradise for those who love the sea.
