I was nervous visiting after reading some of the reviews. I can honestly say I have no idea what people are moaning about. Yes there was a slight rip in the sofa arm, yes the oven shelves were rusty…(for the price we payed I can’t grumble at this) there was no ‘drain’ smell, we had internet the tv worked and the property was very warm and cosy. Very clean and beautifully decorated with everything you need! There is no lighting on the steps, didn’t find this an issue as we used our phone lights. Pack light as yes you do need to carry your luggage up a lot of steps.. however if you want the beautiful view you do have to go higher up so this should be expected. I would 100% recommend staying here Looe is beautiful! Very relaxing break with beautiful coastal walks and trips out to near by places.

Whilst our stay overall was lovely, quick response via email to problem with bulbs being out, we couldn't get a phone signal from villa, so communicated via email.Views were great and villa very nice, however, very stained sofa and matress protector and pillows, which could easily have been steamed on a regular basis, also, a strong smell of drains from bathroom area.We didn't report that aspect, as it had been flagged up on numerous platforms before.

Even though the apartment had a dishwasher, which we didn't use, we found that the saucepans and cutlery had food residue on, possible where they had been in the dishwasher and just put back away. But there was plenty of equipment there to cook meals, only needed a pair of tongs.
