4 Tree Tops in Looe, Cornwall, is a lodge that offers a tranquil setting and privacy, with many guests praising its cleanliness, beautiful surroundings, and the hot tub as a highlight. The on-site restaurant and friendly staff add to the positive experience, although some guests noted areas for improvement in maintenance and comfort.
Most guests found the lodge clean and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms. However, there were mentions of an unpleasant smell in the en-suite, black mould, and a dirty hot tub towards the end of a stay, which slightly affected the overall perception of cleanliness.
The location is frequently described as beautiful and perfect, offering a peaceful and private setting. The lodge's seclusion and the natural beauty of the surroundings contribute to a high rating in this category.
Guests generally found the lodge comfortable, with large bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. However, some guests reported uncomfortable beds and sofas, and issues with room temperature control due to non-opening windows, which impacted the comfort score.
The facilities, including the hot tub and on-site restaurant, were appreciated, but there were several complaints about maintenance issues such as noise from groundkeeping, a non-functional fridge, and a lack of response to reported problems, which suggests room for improvement in this area.
There is insufficient information in the reviews to assess the level of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts or special touches provided by the property. Therefore, this score cannot be determined from the available data.

Furniture was comfortable and outside furniture was a bonus. Only thing to comment is that we couldâve done with a second bin bag and a soap in the en suite but we knew to bring more dishwasher tablets/loo rolls from our stay last year. Reception was very friendly and helpful, and it was clean and well maintained. We would definitely come back again.

Very peaceful and a good restaurant on site. Chalet was well appointed with everything needed for the stay.

The staff are amongst the best that we've ever experienced, which also makes a big difference! Thank you for a great holiday! Mark and Benita.
