This property is only minutes from the A30, which runs through the heart of Cornwall, giving easy access to many of the county s best loved attractions, towns, and beaches. Around a ten minute walk from the property is The Jamaica Inn, the pub made famous by Daphne du Maurier s novel of the same name. Here, visitors can enjoy the restaurant, smuggler s museum, and farm shop as well as the characterful bar. Fly fishing is available locally or further afield, there are plenty of places to visit, with Tintagel, Port Isaac, Fowey, Looe, and The Eden Project all being within a forty minute drive from the property. This spacious two bedroomed property dates back to 1848 and has been tastefully updated to become a comfortable place for a Cornish holiday. The lounge has a cosy wood burner, for which logs are included, which keeps the property lovely and warm in the cooler months. It also has a TV and DVD, which can be enjoyed from the sofas and there is a dining table which enjoys a lovely spot by the window. The kitchen/diner has a larger, farmhouse style dining table, as well as everything you would expect to be able to cook your favourite dishes, including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, and microwave. The property can accommodate a maximum of 2 people with a choice of two upstairs bedrooms: a double and a twin, both of which have exposed beams and offer a relaxing and restful environment, and there is a shower room with WC. Heading outside guests can enjoy access to the large shared gardens and see some of the owners' animals including horses, free roaming chickens and cats. Explore the beautifully maintained woodland walk where you can spot wildlife, as well as several lakes with resident ducks and also a croquet lawn. There is also the possibility of on site stabling, in the form of DIY livery, by prior arrangement and at a fee agreed with the owners. Please note this property is adjacent to the owners home. Off road parking is available. Need to know: Maximum occupancy in the property is 2. 2 upstairs bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. 1 shower room with shower and WC. TV and DVD in the lounge.
