Escape to this rural retreat tucked away in a secret countryside setting, a beautiful home interior and an outside hot tub, with easy access to the North and South Cornish coasts. Morrane is a lovely detached, single storey Swiss style lodge, located just outside Bissoe, near the city of Truro. Morrane has a fresh modern home interior, arranged on one level, with a comfortable and casual vibe. The smart open plan living room with glazed doors to an enclosed deck patio bring the outdoors in. Guests in the master bedroom have a private decked area and the en-suite bathroom, with bath and separate shower.
The twin bedroom has comfortable zip and link beds which can be presented as a super-king. Three steps lead to a large enclosed garden with hot tub and lawn, great for children and dogs, there is also a lovely decked area at the front of the property, relax and enjoy al fresco dining. Morrane is perfect for couples and families seeking the chance to relax and unwind and equally good for an action packed break.
Truro is the retail centre of Cornwall with a good range of independent shops as well as national stores all within a compact city centre. With its eclectic range of art galleries, bars, restaurants, cinema, theatre, museum and outstanding cathedral this small city is a superb year round destination. Steeped in history and intriguing architecture there is always plenty to do and see. Just meandering through the Georgian cobbled streets is a pleasure in itself. With many peaceful parks all within a short stroll from the centre it is a most relaxing city to visit. A wonderful day trip can be had from Truro to Falmouth along the stunning Fal estuary with many options to disembark and pick up the boat later along the scenic river trip.

It far exceeded all of our expectations. Our whole week in Morrane was wonderful. The cottage is truly idyllic. Morrane manages to somehow beautifully combine sheer luxury with comfort and homeliness. During our stay, we wanted for nothing as every detail had been thought of and taken care of, from the fluffiest towels for both the bathroom and hot tub, to kitchen foil and condiments. Also, it was absolutely spotless throughout. We were warmly welcomed on arrival by the lovely and friendly Maureen as was our little dog, who was also catered for remarkably! A simply wonderful holiday experience. Thank you so much. We'll be back!

Both John and Maureen were fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble, not that we needed anything. The cottage was immaculately clean and well presented. We will definitely be going back as the whole place is ideally located within easy reach for the beaches and attractions throughout the county. A big thank you for letting us stay here!!!
