After admiring the beautiful gardens, enter into the kitchen and spacious sitting area, ideal for cooking hearty meals and settling down with a good book, and then walk through to the dining area, a light and airy space to enjoy breakfast each morning before heading out to explore.

There are four bedrooms, a double and a king-size with en-suite facilities and a twin and double serviced by a bathroom. Step outside this attractive cottage and the garden offers the perfect spot for alfresco dining and total relaxation. Nearby Praa Sands is located between the Lizard and Mount's Bay with a mile-long sandy beach, backed by sheltering sand dunes, ideal for families and a firm favourite with surfers. Sandbar is a bar and restaurant with panoramic views overlooking the beach, offering excellent food and is well worth a visit. Alternatively, why not take a picnic on the beach or in the dunes? The historic port of Porthleven, the most southern working port in mainland Britain, is only four miles away.

Having maintained its original charm and character, the small town has a fine choice of top restaurants attracting such chefs as Rick Stein. Helston is a picturesque town, boasting an array of wonderful cafes and restaurants, the Museum of Cornish Life, and Grylls Monument, there's lots to explore whether it's a new Cornish cuisine or the culture itself.
