The property has its own garden with far-reaching views from the seating area with rattan furniture, and an open-plan living space with a raised living room and door to the garden. The properties are close to the attractive village of Godolphin Cross in the beautiful Cornish countryside. The nearby Goldolphin House (NT) is steeped in Cornwall’s mining history and is one of the country’s most significant houses. Gwedna is a perfect escape - quiet and off the beaten track, with the benefit of being midway between and easily accessible to both coasts and all they offer. Swallows Barn has everything you need for a comfortable stay, with a pleasant garden area and good views towards Godolphin. The hosts Geoff and Tonia are friendly, welcoming and live across from the cottages, so are on hand for advice and help. Next time we journey down to West Cornwall, Gwedna will be at the top of our wish list.
