The area is ideal for walking, bird watching, water sports, fishing and golf. There is also a nature reserve within 3 miles. Within easy reach are Falmouth with its harbour and marinas, the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle. Shops, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

We had a lovely time at Ponsgwedhen. It’s spacious, clean and it has an amazing sea view. The communication with the owner was very good. The private driveway was very convenient and the home made cake and a fresh flowers were a very nice touch. Highly recommended.

Great location. Short walk to village albeit uphill to return! Lovely seat on the verandah to admire the views. Plenty of nearby eateries so no need to cook, although kitchen was well equipped. Would have liked more garden space for our dog but was workable. Plenty of walks on the doorstep. Nice touch to have flowers throughout and a welcome cake with tea, coffee and milk provided
