Ideally placed on Cornwall’s north coast, this spacious holiday home can be found in the beautiful village of Lelant within just 50 yards of the small train station that sits on the branch line between St Ives and St Erth. Rumoured to be one of the Queen’s favourite train journeys in the UK, the line winds its way past some of the loveliest of coastal scenery including the golden sands of Hayle Towans and turquoise blue waters at Carbis Bay before arriving in St Ives. Set on the outskirts of the village this five bedroom modern home offers ten guests a spacious base from which to enjoy the stunning beaches and well-known towns of the area, making it an ideal escape for friends and families to spend time together on one of Cornwall’s most iconic stretches of coastline.

Calming neutrals and plush soft furnishings adorn the home’s social spaces, where mid-century inspired pieces of furniture add a luxuriously comforting atmosphere. An elegant living room flows effortlessly into the dining area to create an inviting place that’s perfect for both spending time together in, as well as for sharing hours of conversation over a home-cooked feast. Five beautiful bedrooms offer a spacious sanctuary for guests to retreat to after days spent exploring the sandy stretches at Porthkidney Sand and Hayle Estuary, with the decadent first floor master suite boasting its own bathroom and dressing room, and a further two bathrooms meaning space for all.

A generous kitchen with plenty of worktop space and storage is amply equipped to handle anything from whipping up a batch of freshly baked scones to roasting a Sunday joint with all the accompaniments; with a range of appliances both small and large that include a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer meaning more time to relax! Outside, the enclosed garden is a lovely spot to enjoy a morning coffee and for the younger members of the family it makes a lovely spot for them to stretch their legs or play in the Cornish sunshine.

Positioned west of the Hayle Estuary and gateway to Porthkidney Sands, the area is packed with stunning coastal walks that include the twelve and a half mile path of St Michael’s Way from Lelant to St Michael’s Mount. A shorter four and a half mile walk past Carbis Bay and on to St Ives affording wonderful sea views and historic landmarks along the way.

Located off the entrance hall on the ground floor this room with two desks and office chairs, affords a lovely and useful space for those guests needing to catch up on their e-mails or work from home

The separate kitchen is well-equipped and has plenty of overhead and under counter storage. The range of appliances include an electric, fan-assisted oven and grill, a gas hob, a fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and cafetiere

Dining Room/Area

Situated on the ground floor and open plan with the living room, the dining room has a large table with seating for ten. Glass doors access the enclosed garden

Situated on the first floor with its own en-suite shower room, this bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and is furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers and a smart TV

Situated on the first floor this bright room is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables and lamps, a mirror and a freestanding wardrobe

Also situated on the first floor this room is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables and lamps, a mirror, chest of drawers and an integrated wardrobe

Bedroom Four

Situated upstairs on the second floor this bedroom is furnished with a double bed, bedside tables, lamps, a mirror, chest of drawers and a freestanding wardrobe

Bedroom Five

Situated upstairs on the second floor this bedroom is furnished with twin beds, bedside tables, lamps, chest of drawers, a mirror and a freestanding wardrobe

Family Bathroom

Located on the second floor, the family bathroom includes a bath tub with glass shower screen and head shower over, wash basin, heated towel rail, WC, mirror, shaver point and hairdryer

Bathroom Two

Located on the first floor this bathroom has a bath tub with overhead shower, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, mirror, shaver point and WC

Bathroom Three

The en suite to the Master Bedroom is located on the first floor and features a shower cubicle, heated towel rail, hand basin and cabinet, mirror and WC

Outside

Accessed through the dining room the private courtyard garden with a pergola is completely enclosed and is furnished with deck chairs and a charcoal BBQ. Surfboard / canoe storage available

Parking

Parking for 3 cars to the left-hand side of the front door (when facing the house from the road)

1) On the gravel area (space for 2 cars)

2) To the back of the property just past the gravel area, alongside the single garage which is space for 1 car
