Welcome to The Lodge, hidden from the road and nestled amongst established shrubs and trees in Lelant Downs between Hayle and St Ives, this is an ideal location close to A30, with its own parking for up to two cars. The flexible accommodation will accommodate up to five in two bedrooms, ideal for couples or families, it is suited for two adults and up to three children and one furry friend. Lelant, St. Ives, and Hayle are wonderful locations in Cornwall, offering a plethora of family-friendly activities that are also dog-friendly. You don’t need to go far, the garden is a fantastic play area for children and dogs, great for hide and seek, picnics or even playing ball games.
Cornwall is renowned for its beaches, and you won’t be disappointed as St Ives has seven beaches within walking distance of the town! To avoid the nightmare of trying to find a parking space, catch the Park and Ride train which is just across the road and enjoy the sea views. If it’s not a beach day or you want to do something else, walk along the Hayle Estuary Reserve to see how many different species you can spot, or follow one of the Southwest Coast paths, the rugged coastline is fascinating and great for nature lovers; you may see a seal if you’re lucky. To entertain children, Paradise Park in Hayle is ideal for all ages, the indoor play area has designated areas for toddlers as well as older children. Outside, wander around and look at the variety of birds and animals for a full day’s adventure. Why not combine a trip to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, learn about the rescued pups and see the resident seals and local wildlife, and then wander around the ancient market town of Helston with its boating lake and playpark. As the sun sets, gather around the outdoor seating area and indulge in some quality time together, savouring the magical moments that only a setting like "The Lodge" can provide. Really enjoyed Cornwall.The Cottege was everything we needed and Cornwall is so welcoming to dog owners with great beaches for them to run. In addition, all the shops we went into welcomed dogs.Would definitely go back.

We have just returned from an amazing week at the lodge. Sara made us feel very welcome and the lodge was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. My kids loved the beautiful garden which they spent a lot of time in. The lodge is perfect location for exploring and we spent many days out but always looked forward to returning to the calm of the lodge. We loved it so much we have already booked to return again next year.

I recently spent a week at The Lodge whilst exploring Cornwall for the first time. It is ideally situated for many of the beaches and places of interest in that area and is an oasis of calm to return to at the end of the day. The garden was a real bonus on a summers evening for games and the dog enjoyed sitting out. The Lodge itself provided all we needed for our stay and Sara, our host, was helpful in recommendations and sorting out any issues...a problem with the shower during our stay was addressed quickly and a new shower was fitted whilst we were out for the day! I fully intend to return there soon...
