Allow the house chef to get acquainted in the kitchen, utilising a wealth of appliances, whilst the rest of the group open a bottle of bubbly and prepare for a family feast. Round off the evening with a rinse in the shower room before heading to the bedrooms to catch your rest. Take some time to appreciate the park facilities; go for a swim in the outdoor pool, take the little ones to mini-golf, dine at the communal safari tent or simply wander the acres of woodland. Within a mile lies the highly-recommended Royal Standard Gwinear, a homely pub where you can savour some grub and a few drinks following a day of activity. Head to the Cornish Trevaskis Farm and take a wander around the orchards, pick your own fruit and veg and browse the award-winning farm shop. Pack up your seaside equipment and head to Gwithian Towans, a broad and spacious sandy stretch that is popular with surfers and is great for long walks. Head to one of Cornwall’s most famous destinations, St Ives, where you can visit the working harbour, wander the sandy beaches, browse the art galleries and stop for dinner at one of the fine restaurants. The rural village of Gwinear is located in West Cornwall, two miles east of Hayle. The settlement is perched on a hill with sweeping views of the Angarrack valley and the village's northern end. The Royal Standard, a pub in the village that welcomes dogs and has a full cuisine and a variety of ales, also has a large beer garden. Additionally, Herland Roots, a 3/4 acre market garden, offers weekly pickup or delivery of fresh, seasonal produce. Gwithian Towans Beach, a breathtaking stretch of Cornish sand that is a portion of the three miles of beach known also As Towans (Cornish for "dune"), is located less than five miles away.
