Alternatively, sink into one of the plush armchairs and enjoy the serene rural views. With underfloor heating throughout the property, comfort is guaranteed, ensuring a cosy ambience at all times.

Venturing down the hallway, the second bedroom offers bunk beds with a full-size single on top and a small double below. Adjacent is the family shower room, equipped with a rainfall shower, wash basin, heated towel rail, and WC. At the end of the hallway, the master bedroom awaits, featuring a sumptuous super-king-sized bed. Relax in the freestanding stone bath and indulge in the added touch of luxury as you gaze out the window and witness the beauty of the sunset.

Step through the patio door onto the inviting decked area, where you'll find outdoor seating and a barbecue, perfect for some al-fresco dining. Sink into the warmth of the wood-fired hot tub as the sun dips behind the rolling hills, creating a beautiful sunset. Gather around the fire pit or sway gently in the hammock, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere.

The Cornish Place on Gilly Vean Farm offers luxury cottages that vary in size, from a sleep 6 to a sleep 2. All of the cottages are dog-friendly and come with spacious private gardens. The cottages share a beautiful central communal courtyard, where you can find The Piggery, a place to enjoy cakes and ice creams after a long day out, along with dog treats for your furry companions. You can also access a cupboard full of board games and jigsaws for those rainy days or take to the courtyard where comfortable seating and fire pits to huddle around are waiting for you to spend a magical evening star gazing at the end of a busy day. The Woodshed is a small brick-built barn at the entrance to The Cornish Place which houses the microgym. The cottages are located on 26 acres of stunning countryside, offering 11 fields of lush pasture and wildflower meadows. The Play Field is perfect for guests of all ages to have some fun and run around. The field has a mown football/rugby pitch with a goalpost, ideal for an impromptu match (and a picnic table for spectators!). The dog walking field is a spot for the four-legged friends to run around off the lead. It also has a field shelter for those less beautiful days. A short walk up the hill to the highest point of the land is worth it for the view. You can bring a picnic lunch, a morning coffee, or a glass of something chilled and watch the sunset.
