Explore the splendour of the local area, with so much excitement in Fowey, you're sure to find something to suit every taste; take a stroll into the town, its centre being just over a mile's walk away, along the historic Saints Way path which runs alongside the property where you can find plenty of scenic wonder along the way alongside historic landmarks such as The Tristan Stone awaiting to be discovered before you immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of the town. There are plenty of pubs, inns, cafés and restaurants to take your pick from when you're seeking a delicious lunch, with views over the River Fowey too, there are plenty of romantic spots if you're travelling with your partner. Roam the picturesque harbour where you will find a plethora of quaint shops to while away the hours in, as well as an aquarium showcasing marine life from around the Cornish coast and plenty of watersporting opportunities such as boating, kayaking and paddleboarding. Follow the scenic South West Coast Path to find the wonderful Readymoney Cove, perfect for swimming and offering remarkable scenery, it's a true hidden gem to be found, while the ruins of St Catherine's Castle can be found along the path too, along with Polridmouth Cove, the National Trust owned Gribbin Daymarker and so much more. Fowey is a modest coastal town resting at the mouth of the River Fowey in south Cornwall. There are plenty of amenities and attractions within the town, with a wealth of shops and waterside eateries, as well as opportunities for golfing, watersports, history hunting and much more. The town hosts a range of festivals, fair, markets and theatre performances throughout the year too, as well as being in easy reach of Mevagissey and Charlestown, making it a truly exceptional base all-year-round.
