This little community and civil parish are located in south Cornwall at the River Fowey's mouth. The River Fowey's estuary creates a natural harbour, which allowed the town to develop into a significant trading hub. There are many sights and activities in and around the harbour. You are sure to find something for the whole family, whether you like spending time on the sea, playing golf, or learning more about the local history. For those who are feeling more adventurous, you can rent your own self-drive boat, kayak, or paddle board and explore the waters on your own. Harbour cruises leave the Town Quay often during the season, offering you a fantastic perspective of the town. Why not take a tour of either Fowey or Polruan? The town is rich in history. Additionally, you can take pottery or painting classes, play golf, go horseback riding, or participate in an owl encounter. Along with Readymoney Cove, there is the aquarium, museum, St. Catherine's Castle, and more that are just waiting to be discovered. There are many pubs, inns, cafes, and restaurants to pick from if you are hungry or want something to quench your thirst while travelling. Whenever you decide to go, keep an eye out for any ongoing festivals, fairs, markets, or theatrical performances. The Mevagissey and Charlestown harbours, the Eden Project, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are just a few of the local family-friendly activities. From this great base, find them all!

Always cheerful and willing to pass the time of day with us. Having not stayed in a Lodge before we were delighted with the accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay. The lodge was spotless and little touches like the milk in the fridge, on arrival, were most welcomed. Only downfalls were , there was no mirror above dressing table and no shelving in bathroom for toiletries ( but that’s just me been picky
