Arranged over three floors this quayside apartment is conveniently situated in the heart of Fowey. From the quay take a steamboat river trip, hire a boat or relax at one of the waterfront cafes and pubs. A passenger ferry runs frequently over to the pretty village of Polruan or travel by ferry over to Mevagissey, a pretty coastal boat trip across the bay. Heading further afield, visit the Eden Project, Charlestown, one of the filming locations in the TV series Poldark, The Lost Gardens of Heligan or Hangloose Adventures. There are countless beaches and coastal walks all within quick and easy reach. Enter the property on the ground floor and step into the entrance hall, an ideal space to leave those muddy walking boots. From here stairs lead to the first floor, with open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. From the large dining table with seating for six there are views over the town, after a day of exploring head over to the lounge and relax on the sofa and watch the Smart TV. The contemporary kitchen area is well equipped with electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine and microwave. A social space to cook an evening meal and then gather around the dining table. There are 2 stalls by the kitchen area to create a breakfast bar. A further set of stairs leads to the second floor which has a double bedroom with en suite shower room, WC and a family bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. A final set of stairs leads to the third floor with the remaining bedrooms, a double with a TV and a twin both with views overlooking the town. There is no outside space with this property however the beach, quayside and many amenities are within paces of the front door. Guests are able to stop to unload only outside the property; parking permit is provided and there is parking available in nearby car parks (charges apply). Special Note During winter months September April the owners ask to keep the flood gate in place at all times. . Fowey is a quaint town situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the town can be challenging. . Many of the amenities, ferries and cottages in Fowey are accessed via steps/ slopes some of which can be steep. Please contact us if you have specific requirements. . There are many small winding streets in and around Fowey, some of which are not suitable for cars. .
