Riverstones is a superb choice for a family holiday or a couple’s getaway, with an open plan layout on the ground floor, three comfortable bedrooms and a sun trap of a patio. Everything in the cottage is set up with comfort and convenience in mind. The new kitchen was equipped by a cooking enthusiast, so you will be sure to find everything you need. New furnishings give a really fresh feel throughout – notice the Cornwall colour theme! Equipment for babies and toddlers is provided.
Pendra Loweth is a garden village nestled in a wooded valley just outside of Falmouth. The village is surrounded by stunning woodland walks, and the valley is bisected by a stream that burbles down towards Maenporth Beach. The on-site facilities are excellent.
It is a perfect base for exploring everything that is good about Cornwall – stunning beaches, incredible views, beautiful gardens, amazing activities. The nearest beaches are Swanpool and Maenporth just 1 mile away. Gyllyngvase is the largest in Falmouth and sits just outside the town. All three have good parking and much-loved beach cafés.
The South West Coast Path offers fantastic walks, wherever you start – whether locally at Maenporth, or an easy drive to The Lizard Peninsula, or to The Roseland Peninsula via King Harry Ferry. Blue skies and calm, silky seas or grey skies and crazy seas – it’s wonderful, either way.
Falmouth is a short drive away, a lively town with a wealth of fine restaurants and thriving pubs – plus gorgeous views of the marina, the working docks and the amazing ‘Carrick Roads’ estuary. (Can you believe that Falmouth has the third deepest natural harbour in the world?) Pendennis Castle and The National Maritime Museum are both well worth a visit. You can take a ferry from the Prince of Wales Pier or Custom House Quay to St. Mawes and the Roseland Peninsula or further up the River Fal to Trelissick Gardens, Malpas or Truro. Or try the quiet of the Helford River, including Helford Passage and Frenchman’s Creek. Visit the beautiful Glendurgan and Trebah gardens that both lead down to the riverside. Or go further afield to Marazion and St. Michael’s Mount, St. Ives, Land’s End or the famous surfing beaches of the north coast. Maybe try the Cornwall bus. Wherever you go, it is beautiful and it is fun!

This was our second time staying at Pendra Loweth, but first time at Riverstones, the property was fabulous, very clean and comfortable!Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday, hope to be back next year!

Really enjoyed river stones was home away from home .but I must say the road down to the site was narrow and winding,the cottage was lovely and peaceful great position,there was a file with all intrusions for appliances but the one for over was missing,would definitely recommend it for a peaceful get away

Really lovely cottage, very spacious and clean with lots of extras to make your stay really comfortable. you can tell alot of thought has been put into making u comfortable. Splash pool on site was great, our 2 year old loved it. Gym looked well equipped.Nice going to sleep hearing a barn howl hoot, the grounds are beautiful.Great location is a valley with woods surrounding area.Falmouth has so many beaches, amazing restaurants your spoilt for choice.Loved our holiday.Cottage was super clean, 2 lovely big pillows on beds per person & white bedding exceptionally clean.Cafe on site was only open a few hours in evening & u had to book in advance. Not suited for our family holidays as we are more about breakfast and heading out for the day not necessarily know when we would be back so we didn't end up eating there, my husband & son enjoyed a few beers there & there is a nice terrace outside if u prefer to be outside.Over cottage is one of best we've stayed in & can't see anyone regretting booking. thanks for an amazing stay
