Continue through to the kitchen and dining area, where preparing meals becomes part of the experience, with everything you need close at hand before gathering around the table to share food and conversation. When the weather calls, open the door and carry dishes straight outside, making the most of the easy connection between the interior and garden. Head upstairs to discover two delightful bedrooms, each offering a comfortable place to relax. The double room provides a calm setting to drift off, while the twin room is well-suited to children or friends. Between them, the family shower room invites you to enjoy the separate shower room, finished with pretty patterned tiles underfoot, offering a refreshing space to start the day.

Stepping outside, the enclosed rear garden provides a lovely extension of the living space, where you can sit with a morning coffee, dine in the open air, or stretch out in the summer house on a lounger and enjoy a slower pace. With a shop and pub just moments from the door and the coast within easy reach, everything you need for a relaxed stay is close by. From here, explore the nearby harbour town of Falmouth, where you can step inside Pendennis Castle to discover its coastal history, wander through the National Maritime Museum Cornwall to uncover tales of the sea, and spend time on the sweeping sands of Gyllyngvase Beach.

Head to Truro to admire the striking Gothic Revival architecture of Truro Cathedral, browse a mix of independent shops and markets, and enjoy the seasonal colour of Victoria Gardens. Closer to home, Mylor Harbour offers scenic waterfront walks, inviting cafés and restaurants to pause in, and opportunities to take to the water with boat trips that showcase the beauty of the Fal Estuary. A sought-after and picturesque village at the head of Mylor Creek that runs up from the Carrick Roads, the World’s third largest deep water harbour. Boats and sailing, wooded creeks, softly gliding water, riverside pubs and fabulous gardens epitomise the area. This friendly village has a superb selection of local shops (try the fresh fish!), a Post Office, a good pub and several restaurants within easy reach. The nearby harbour town of Falmouth with its exciting Maritime Museum and its castle, beaches and marina makes a great day out while the Cathedral city of Truro famous for its cobbled streets, theatre, museums and vibrant shopping centre should not be missed. Take the car, or a boat from Falmouth, for a trip up the stunningly beautiful Helford River and while there, call in at Glendurgan and Trebah Gardens for the horticultural treat of the year. The area is perfectly placed too for exploring the rugged cliffs, sandy coves and fishing villages of the Lizard Peninsula, also The Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within an hour’s drive.
