The nearby harbour town of Falmouth with its exciting Maritime Museum and its castle, beaches and marina makes a great day out while the Cathedral city of Truro famous for its cobbled streets, theatre, museums and vibrant shopping centre should not be missed. Take the car, or a boat from Falmouth, for a trip up the stunningly beautiful Helford River and while there, call in at Glendurgan and Trebah Gardens for the horticultural treat of the year. The equipment, linen and towels etc all added a luxurious finish and we found everything we needed had been thoughtfully provided to make our stay easy. The shop downstairs, nearby butcher and pub were all friendly. The apartment was a lovely base whilst visiting family locally and exploring the beautiful area around Mylor.
