The town's National Maritime Museum, ancient taverns along the harbour, great shopping, art galleries, and gorgeous architecture round out the picture. Henry viii's Pendennis Castle, located on a peninsula with breath-taking views of Falmouth Harbor, is a top tourist attraction. The Roseland Peninsula, which includes the picturesque town of St. Mawes, can be found directly across Falmouth Harbour. The Roseland Peninsula is known for its rocky coves, sandy beaches, and verdant countryside. The Swanpool Nature Reserve is a lagoon and site of special scientific significance teeming with various animals that is sure to please any nature enthusiast.
