Gew, Cornish for 'hollow' is well-furnished furnished with a bright and spacious open plan living space and French doors opening onto the decked terrace. Here you can enjoy an evening gin and tonic, rewarding yourself after a day of coastal rambles. The kitchen comes well-equipped to ensure your culinary requirements are met, but if you don’t fancy cooking, there are plenty of nearby pubs and restaurant to try. As the night rolls in, venture upstairs to the bedrooms, comprising of a double and twin, making this a perfect choice for families. Start the day with a refreshing shower before popping on your walking boots to tackle the surrounding area, with easy access tocoastal footpaths and Maenporth Cove from the door. Guests wanting to enjoy a game of tennis are just a stone's throw away from the all weather courts whilst those wanting to relax will appreciate the on-site Jacuzzi. Those who have not ventured to the beach may enjoy a dip in the Splash Pool or you can even get a sweat on in the gym. Perhaps the best work out to be had is a circular walk from the cottage, down to Maenporth cove, up across the spectacular coastal footpath toward Swanpool and then back up through the pretty lanes to the village; roughly five miles but well worth the effort for those wanting to appreciate all that this special location has to offer. North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns. Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River. Enjoy unrivaled rives from the rugged cliffs of St Anthony Head before meandering along the Roseland Heritage Coast to Portscatho, or take off inland and explore Truro, Cornwall’s only city, where you can see the magnificent Truro Cathedral and Royal Cornwall Museum, before dining at a fine restaurant or gastropub. Gew is a lovely place to call home whilst exploring all that Cornwall has to offer.

Nestled on the shores of the beautiful southwest coast of Cornwall, you will find the bustling town of Falmouth. Complemented by a good selection of pubs and bars, as well a number of handy convenience stores, the town has all the essentials for a smooth-sailing stay. There are attractions and landmarks aplenty, and Helston and Maenporth offer plenty of opportunity to explore the coast.
