Uniquely presented with a mock Tudor-style black and white exterior whilst enjoying close proximity to the glorious sands of Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth Lodge makes a fantastic base for a group of friends or families. A well-kept front patio greets you at the foot of this lovely dwelling, providing a lovely spot to sit out and take in the fresh sea breeze with a crisp glass of wine as you watch the world go by. Make your way over the threshold of the vibrant purple doorway and unload your bags and coats in the entrance hallway, before making your way through to the sitting room to flick on the TV and unwind with a moment of peace following a lengthy journey. Following the corridor through the property, discover the ground-floor shower room, perfect for washing off your toes following a day at the beach. When stomachs start to rumble, why not uncork a bottle of wine and gather your guests together at the dining table while you make use of the fantastic facilities provided in the kitchen to rustle up a trove of tasty treats. Settled on the first floor you'll find four well-presented bedrooms, two rooms, one with a triple bunk and a single bed, and the second with a bunk and a twin, along with two double rooms, each benefiting from their own basin and ample storage to unpack your belongings. Tucked away under the eaves on the second floor is the fifth and final bedroom, hosting a double, a single and a pull-out trundle bed with access to its own en-suite, providing the perfect sleeping arrangement for a family with small children. Servicing this remarkable property are two additional shower rooms, ideal for larger groups. Pack your bucket and spade and spend the afternoon soaking up the sun with a visit to the nearby Blue Flag award-winning Gyllyngvase Beach, where you can paddle the shores of the crystal clear waters, feel the sand between your toes as you lounge with a book in hand, or come face-to-face with sea creatures with a spot of snorkeling at Gylly Reef. Treat your loved ones to an evening out on the town and indulge in a delicious meal at one of the many eateries peppered throughout the streets, with pubs, restaurants and bistros promising to serve something to suit all tastes and budgets. Whilst you're in the area, be sure to do a spot of sightseeing, with the 15th century artillery fort of Pendennis Castle settled on a hilltop nearby, built by Henry VIII, whilst the National Maritime Museum Cornwall overlooks the harbour in the heart of the town, showcasing maritime artefacts alongside tales of smuggling and fishing.
