The kitchen has been set up by a cooking enthusiast and has everything you need to rustle up a mouthwatering meal. With free wifi and lots of entertainment, Riverstones is well furnished with bright and spacious open plan living and French windows opening onto a patio. There are three bedrooms; two doubles, and a twin with TV. Nearby Falmouth is a classic Cornish town with a beautiful harbour. It is home to the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle. Visitors can enjoy an amble through the narrow streets or possibly a boat trip across the River Fal to St. Mawes or up the Truro River. At Bissoe, hire bikes (or take your own) for traffic free cycling through tin mine country, between Portreath village and beach on the north coast and the beautiful creek at Devoran on the south coast. This property is well placed for exploring the whole of Cornwall - the surfing beaches of the north coast, St. Ives, Land's End, St. Michael's Mount, Porthcurno (with The Telegraph Museum and the amazing Minack Theatre), plus England's southernmost point, The Lizard, are all about an hour's drive. The Village of Gardens, Pendra Loweth, is a village of purpose built and privately owned self-catering holiday cottages. Situated in a beautiful and peaceful valley leading down to Maenporth Beach, and with onsite facilities including tennis courts, children's outdoor play area and an indoor plunge pool and gym (seasonal opening hours).

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbourside pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry viii, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes).
